Two girls on a date

I was at a nearby restaurant. I've been here before, and have had nothing but good experiences. Today there were two girls in their late 20's sitting next to me. They were dressed well, made up, and were in short skirts.

They looked like they were on a date. Both girls were being daring, ordering drinks, and trying new things - and sharing a kiss here and there. They were well off (both had great clothes, expensive looking purses and jewelry).

It seemed like they both had a great time. I would say the date seemed to be successful. A gynocentric culture will do anything it can to tear down traditional marriages and the nuclear family, so I'm not sure how I feel about this. The only thing I can say for sure is that women love being women.

Edit: I always assumed a lesbian date would be more tender and intimate. This was rowdier than I expected. It's almost as if they were trying to "one up" each other. One of them ordered a shot of tequila - and the other followed. So on and so forth.

It sounds like I accidentally stumbled into a scene from "Blue is the Warmest Color" (which I've never seen).

Edit2: I had a similar experience many years ago. In college, we were at a club. My buddy had been getting these 2 girls drunk all night. I asked what he planned on doing with them - and he said he wasn't sure. One of them was more interested in him than the other. The other was more interested in the other girl - who was more interested in my buddy. It was a weird love quadrangle.

Eventually, they got kicked out, and my buddy took one of them home. He didn't end up sleeping with her. He said she was just too sloppy drunk and he wasn't interested.

The next day, he was hit with a relationship bomb. The girl he slept with gave him some sort of ultimatum. He said he didn't really remember. My guess was that the other girl got upset that my buddy slept with her friend and not her.
