Man in the back of the car

This happened to me when I was 14 and it still makes my skin crawl to this day.<br><br>I was in my dads car, who was driving me home from work, late at night (10:30ish) and it was very dark out. I lived in a rural area and I was the only car on the road. <br><br>I was busy looking at my phone and wasn't paying attention to the road, when I looked up, I saw a man walking on the side of the road, looking directly in the car at me. I jumped about a foot, and I looked at my dad in terror, he didn't seem to even notice. <br><br>I thought he had just not seen him and told him, he looked in the mirror and told me I was seeing things and to pay attention to the road.<br><br>But I was certain I had seen him. I kept looking back over at the sidewalk and he was still there. <br><br>I started to look over at him more and more and he continued to look in at me and I could swear he was watching me. <br><br>I got to my driveway, got out of the car, looked back and he was gone, I looked up and down the road and he was gone. I was so convinced I had just seen him. I asked my dad to slow down and look back over at the road and he still didn't seem to think I had seen anyone.<br><br>I was terrified that night, it didn't help that it was one of the most creepy roads I've ever been on, it has a lot of abandoned houses and cars and has always been a weird place at night. <br><br>The next day I told everyone about it and no one believed me, I was convinced I had seen him, but the more I think about it, it could of just been a shadow or a trick of the light. But still, it freaks me out to this day to look at the road and think that maybe someone is watching me.
