Elon Musk desperately wants Twitter to be seen as a "moderate" and "centrist" platform, but has told employees that the social network has to lose its "left-wing bias" if it is to survive.<br><br>Musk told staff that Twitter's ranks have desperately needed a shift to the right for a long time, but also warned against falling into "extremes" and that his plan to let former US President Donald Trump return to the platform isn't a sign of the shift.<br><br>Twitter has long been seen as a platform where left-wing voices have been more prominent, while right-wing voices have been more prominent on Facebook and other Meta-owned platforms.
