My husband told another woman that he loved her…..

My husband is a great guy, puts his family first. <br><br>He has only loved two women in his life, her and me. <br><br>I know he loves me, we’ve been married for over twenty years, has never strayed. <br><br>His ex is dying…<br><br>She has days left. <br><br>She asked to see him as they were each other’s ‘first loves’. <br><br>He went to see her, talked about the 80s, held her hand, hugged her and told her that he always loved her. <br><br>And, I’m ok with that. <br><br>And, I’m OK with that!<br><br>Edit - I’m quite friendly with her daughter, it was her who reached out to me. Her husband is a great guy, he shook my husbands hand. <br><br>Edit 2. The first girl he asked out & the first girl to say yes - I think it’s sweet! <br><br>He’s back home now, we had a cup of tea and a cuddle.<br><br>Edit 3. Yes, we have children. Our son is with his girlfriend and our daughter is with us, she has 2 kids. <br><br>They were all very accepting. <br><br>Edit 4. It was her dying wish. <br><br>I hope that if I ever end up where she is that I too can have an old flame visit - not that there is anyone. <br><br>I think it’s lovely. <br><br>And, I’m OK with that!<br><br>Edit 5. Yes, the leaving of messages is really touching. <br><br>I hope that you step back into your lives with a renewed love of those around you. <br><br>Appreciate your first loves & loves of your life, and show them you love them. <br><br>Hug your spouses, lovers, children, parents, friends. <br><br>Life is short, and I’m so glad I got to share this story. <br><br>Much love. <br><br>And, I’m OK with that!<br><br>Finally, please stop with this Sid and Nancy stuff……..I love the song, but…. Lol.<br><br>Ps. I think it was a bad day for PR when they rebranded ‘chorley hospital’ as ‘Lancashire royal hospital’. <br><br>She isn’t in any pain and is surrounded by her loved ones.
