New Zealander here, over the past 5 years we've seen a rise of assholes who are tourists.

We've had hundreds of cases of our native bush being burned down by tourists lighting cigarettes on the side of the road, throwing them out the window and setting the bush on fire. <br><br>We've had tourists stealing, they think it's acceptable to steal because they can't be held accountable when they leave the country. <br><br>We've had hundreds of cases of no respect for our cultures, this one is fucking me off the most. They think it's okay to go into our meeting grounds, touch and steal our possessions that are of huge importance to the tribe and our heritage. <br><br>But the worst part is when we confront them about it, we are met with shear rudeness. <br><br>They will not care about your country, so you should too.<br><br>Edit: Sorry about my English, I'm 16<br> <br>Edit: Thanks for the awards, unaware that this was a US subreddit, but it's good to make this a universal message.
