A crazy homeless man followed me to a bus stop

It was a rainy day last week when I was coming home from school. I was waiting at a bus stop and the bus didn't arrive until 15 minutes later. During this time I saw a man sitting across the street. He didn't look normal to me. I had a bad feeling that I was being watched. After 5 minutes, he stood up and walked across the street. I felt a shiver down my back. As he got closer I felt scared. I didn't know what to do. When he reached me he said "can I help you get home?" and then walked up to me. I didn't say a word, and he looked at me with an odd look on his face. I slowly backed away from him and walked to the bus stop. I felt as though I was in a movie. He didn't move and I just kept backing away from him until I reached the bus stop. The bus was a couple of minutes away from arriving at this point. When the bus arrived and I got on it, the man walked over and said "don't think you can shake me, I'll be right behind you." I was so terrified and didn't know what to do. He followed me to my stop and I didn't even have money on me. I just walked off and he followed me. I just didn't know what to do and was so scared. He was so close to me, I could see his breath. I just knew he was going to attack me. I didn't know what to do, but then he walked away. I don't know what to do, because I was so scared. I hope I never see him again, and I hope he's okay and doesn't harm anyone else.
