My Wife’s Daughter Got Her Ears Pierced.

I had a daughter. I bought her a dog. Then I bought her a puppy. Then I bought her a “gun.” Fast forward about five years, I forced her into high school band. Then my wife and I forced her into everything under the sun. Nothing stuck. Then she got a TikTok account and now she’s obsessed with knives. Honestly, I don’t even care anymore. She’s going to do whatever she wants anyway, apparently. So she asked me to buy her a knife. I told her I’m not buying her anything until she researches and shows me what knife she wants. She picked out a cheap Chinese knife. I said fine. “Can I get my ears pierced?” Sure. I took her to the mall and paid a very nice lady to shoot a hole in my daughter’s head. I bought my daughter a knife and a new pair of earrings. She’s happy. Life’s good.
