CMV: Most people voting for Biden are voting because he is "not Trump" while the opposite cannot be said.

EDIT: This thread was locked because I am receiving death threats. I’d love to let it continue, but I think the moderators and I agreed that the risk isn’t worth it.<br><br>I don’t like Joe Biden. I’m not a fan of Donald Trump either, but I have a slight preference for him. My issue with the 2020 Presidential Election is that the entire campaign centered on a “Not Trump” movement. I find this to be incredibly unoptimal for the United States of America. The president has immense influence on the future of the country, and every 4 years we vote on which person will have the job. We all should want to best candidates available running each time. I am not saying the Joe Biden is the worst candidate, but I am saying that I don’t thing he is the best candidate. I’m sure Trump has his downsides too, but I’m not here to defend him. I’m just saying that I think it is pretty asinine to vote for a candidate who has been accused of sexual assault, who is clearly showing signs of dementia, and has been caught lying to the American people too many times to count. I would wager a guess that most people who are voting for Biden really want to vote against Trump. I believe this mindset is detrimental to American democracy because the democratic process should ensure that we have the best candidate running the country at any given time.
