Why is it that I can go away for the weekend and I am fine with it, but if my husband does it I have to make sure that he has clean socks and underwear for the whole time that he is away.

Two years ago I was visiting my daughter in another state and she asks me why I am packing so much. I tell her I am going to be here for two weeks and all I have is a carry on bag. That was it. <br><br>Now I am going away for 2 days and my husband is coming with me, but I was by myself for a bit and when he saw how little luggage I had, he asks me if I have everything that I need and if I am sure I don't want to bring more, that I don't forget anything. <br><br>It got me thinking and I am right. I don't need anyone to check on me or make sure that I have everything. <br><br>Is it because I am a woman? Or is it because I am an adult and I can take care of myself? Or is it that I am single in my mind? <br><br>What are your thoughts on this?
