If you have a cavity, it's your fault.

You know how often you're supposed to brush your teeth. You know how to do it. You know when to do it.

If you can't get the simple act of cleaning your teeth done, it's on you.

Now, I will acknowledge the fact that some people don't have a dental history as rich in knowledge as us, the obviously super enlightened people in these comments. But come on, 99% of the people in here will tell you that you need to brush your teeth.

If you choose to ignore that information, that's on you.

This wasn't about "it's bad to have something wrong with you, it's your fault that you have it!" or "you're a bad person!" it was about the fact that you have cavities, and that probably shouldn't be the case.

EDIT: obviously there are exceptions, which I'm sure every other intelligent person in these comments has pointed out. And if you're a charity worker in some jungle, I'm sure that your oral hygiene routine is not top priority.

But for most of us, I think it's safe to say that we have the knowledge and the means to do it. But we still don't.

EDIT 2: I never said that people with cavities should be shamed into not having cavities anymore. If you have a cavity, you'll still have one whether or not you have CMV.

And if you're going to cavity-shame me, you can go fuck yourself.
