CMV: Humanity has lost all hope of saving the environment

It's now very obvious that we have passed the tipping point in terms of our environment. We can't halt climate change, and it will now pass the tipping point where our survival will be in danger. I think the fact that we can see this point coming and have done for decades and continue to ignore the problem means that we are not capable of saving ourselves now. The best we can do is mitigate damage and save some part of humanity from extinction, but the future of our planet is dark and has no hope of being salvaged.
