Home alone, home invasion

When I was 16 I got invited to a friends house up in the woods. He lived with his mom, sister and his dads wife. He said to come over to his house so that we could hangout without our parents around.<br><br>I go up there and as we're playing and doing stuff we get hungry and ask his mom if she's making any food, she says that she doesn't want to make anything and that we should make some sandwiches and stuff on our own.<br><br>She was busy watching tv so I said fuck it and just left, and went home. I said goodbye to his mom and we made plans to come back and do the same thing again soon, she said "no problem".<br><br>A few hours later his mom calls my house. She asks if I was there and I say no, that I had to go home. She says "alright well I think something weird happened at my house so I want you to come over so that we can figure out what happened." I tell her no I'm not coming over and that I'll come back tomorrow and we'll talk about it then.<br><br>She starts freaking out saying she locked the kitchen door to the back yard, and the front door was open when she went to check and that she doesn't know who was inside her house. I tell her she's crazy and that she's just fucking with me, so she says "well I know you were here before so you know it's locked up, so someone must've opened it and went inside." I told her that I'm not coming over, so she starts calling my dad. My dad answers the phone and she says "I don't know what happened at my house but I think something happened so I need someone to come over." My dad asks what happened, she says "the front door is open and the back door to the kitchen is open so someone must be in the house."<br><br>My dad tells her "okay, I'll come over" so she's happy and tells me to come over right away. I tell my dad what happened and he says "alright alright I'll be right over."<br><br>So we all get to the house and there's no one there, it's all locked up, and nothing was stolen. My dad and her husband start looking around the house and there's no one inside, so we go out the back door and see nothing. We ask the neighbor kids if they saw anyone or anything and none of them did.<br><br>We all went back to my house and she kept calling and texting, saying she was scared and that she wants someone to come over and check the house again.<br><br>She ended up calling the police and they came by, looked around and said there was nothing there.<br><br>I still don't know how someone got into her house or what happened to her.<br><br>And we never did find out what happened at her house that night.
