I ran out of money -- I was too poor to go to university and I could barely afford to live on my own. I lived in an apartment covered in mold. I knew I wasn't the first to live there. It's a really nice apartment, and a lot of people have lived there over the years. The walls were covered in paintings that looked like they had been made by a child. They were a lot better than I could make. They were colorful and happy. They were, however, peeling. When I moved in I couldn't even see the wall for all the paintings.

One day I was cleaning and I noticed the paintings were peeling a little more then they used to be. I tried to get them to not peel anymore, but every time I'd peel them back down they'd peel right back up again. I resigned myself to the fact that the paintings were going to come off, and I decided to take them down myself. As I was pulling down the last one I noticed a crayon that had fallen behind the painting. I picked it up and read the title of the crayon, not that it would do me much good.
