I'm in my mid-20s and have only been to two countries in my life and have always dreamed of traveling the world.
In the past year I've done a lot of traveling in Europe. I've gone on an austro-hungarian road trip from Budapest to Prague from Berlin to Paris to Salzburg. I loved it so much. I studied abroad in Italy and had the time of my life exploring Italy. But all of that was possible because I lived in the EU.

My story starts in my mid teens when my family immigrated to Europe. I was born in a post soviet country and all of my family moves to the EU for better opportunities. At first it was hard. I had to learn a new language, adjust to new culture, and leave everything I knew behind. It was hard but I finally settled in and I could finally call it home.

Years later I apply to a university in Italy and I get in. I move to Italy and it's a dream come true. I love the language, the people, the culture, the food, and the lifestyle. I spend my days in the classroom and my weekends traveling not only all of Italy but all the neighboring countries.

I know it may sound obvious but because I lived in Europe I actually had the opportunities to explore. Being in Europe gave me not just the passion for travel but the opportunity to travel.

TL;DR : Immigrating to Europe gave me the opportunity to see the beauty and diversity of Europe.
