LPT: On your birthday, you can get free stuff from fast food and chain restaurants, but you have to sign up for their emails to find out.

The title says it all. A new restaurant opens up in my city and they typically send me coupons for a free item. I have now used this free item and cancelled my subscription to their emails. However, they continually send me emails with free food coupons. I thought, what the hell I will try it out. The first time I was embarrassed to tell them it was my birthday, but they barely cared I was making a purchase. The next 4 places I went to didn't seem to care one bit.

So if you get birthday coupons for free food you don't need to use them, go and get it free.

Edit: Some of the places that I get free stuff from are:

PF Changs (pastry)

Chili's (free desert)

Dairy Queen (buy one get one free)

Noodles and Company (free entree)

Panera (free pastry)

Chickfila (free milkshake)

Cheesecake Factory (free cheesecake)

Olive Garden (free desert)

Red Lobster (free desert)

Red Robin (free burger)

Domino's (free pizza)

Papa John's (buy one get one free)

Wendy's (free frosty)

TGI Fridays (free Jack Daniel's dessert)

Outback (free dessert)

Buffalo Wild Wings (free snack sized wings)

Starbucks (free drink or treat)

Moe's (free burrito)

Arbys (free shake)

IHOP (free meal)

Remember to check the terms and conditions. Some of them require a purchase and some require a friend to get the free item too
Edit 2: Well this blew up. I know this is obvious to some people, but I feel like it isn't that well known. So if there is a good chain restaurant that is in your area that you don't know about put it here.
