LPT: On your birthday, you can get free stuff from fast food and chain restaurants, but you have to sign up for their emails to find out.

The title says it all. A new restaurant opens up in my city and they typically send me coupons for a free item. I have now used this free item and cancelled my subscription to their emails. However, they continually send me emails with free food coupons. I thought, what the hell I will try it out. The first time I was embarrassed to tell them it was my birthday, but they barely cared I was making a purchase.
