My (M23) girlfriend (F22) came home from work with a girl from work. I (M23) was surprised she didn't check with me first and confused on what to do.

My girlfriend works at a fast food establishment. There is a new hire who's car recently broke down and the girlfriend said she would drive her to and from work each day until her car is fixed. I'm a bit of a homebody and don't like people at my apartment, so I said I wasn't comfortable with that. She agreed.

At around 10:30 AM I hear a knock at the door. I'm surprised because usually I don't get anything but maybe a delivery or something, and I wasn't expecting any. So I look through the peephole it's the new girl. I'm surprised so I open the door a bit and say "Hi, is -girlfriend- here?" She's a bit startled and says "Yeah I'm just here to pick her up to go to work." I thought this was weird because she was supposed to be car-less and girlfriend wasn't supposed to pick her up. But I nonetheless let her in and went to wake up the girlfriend.

I'm a bit dumbfounded as to what to do. Is it rude not to offer her a snack or drink? She just got here and girlfriend is still sleeping. But, I don't really have anything to offer her. I'm also still in my pajamas. Do I change my clothes, or do I keep my pajamas on? I feel really awkward and I don't know what to do. I've never been in a situation like this before. I try to break the awkwardness and ask how her morning has been and she says it's fine but I can tell she's just giving a generic answer and she's also uncomfortable.

I don't know what to do. I think girlfriend will be a while because she's not a morning person. But I also don't want to just leave this girl in my living room alone. I feel like that's rude. I'm also on Reddit right now asking for advice but that's also rude because it's on my TV so she can see it.

What do I do? I feel really awkward.

Edit: Apparently I used a wrong word in the title. I meant to say girlfriend came home with a coworker and thought girlfriend wasn't there but really girlfriend was sleeping. I was in the other room.

Edit 2: Apparently I used another wrong word. I meant to say girlfriend brought a coworker to my apartment without asking and thought girlfriend wasn't there but really girlfriend was sleeping. I was in the other room. Also, I know some of you are confused about this part so I'll clear it up really quick; girlfriend and coworker both start work at 11:00 AM but girlfriend said she would drive her 30 minutes before their shift so they both have enough time to get clocked in and ready for work before their shift starts.

Edit 3: Alright, so girlfriend is up and she's gone. I told her I was a bit overwhelmed that she brought the coworker over without asking and she said she didn't think it would be a big deal because she just needed to grab something and then they would be gone but really the coworker ended up standing around for 30 minutes in my living room. I told girlfriend that in the future I would like it if she asked me first, and she said okay, no problem. She said she didn't think it would be a big deal because I had already met the coworker and we had already talked.

The coworker and I did have a conversation just now that made me uncomfortable. I asked girlfriend if she could tell the coworker something for me, and she said yes. I whispered into girlfriend's ear "Tell her to never bring another guy to my apartment without asking me first." Girlfriend said okay, and then she whispered something to the coworker. The coworker looked at me and said "Got it, no problem."

Edit 4: Another thing just happened and I wanted to add it. So girlfriend and coworker just left, and girlfriend texted me saying she loves me. I love her too so I said I love you too, and I always will. She said okay, thanks. I thought that was a bit weird, but maybe she's just stressed with work stuff, so I blew it off. But I just got another text from her (I think actually it was the coworker). I'm 100% sure because it just happened a few seconds ago and girlfriend doesn't usually text and drive, and they just left my apartment. The text said "I get that you're sarcastic but I'm not sure if you were serious or not, so here is just in case you were; I don't know you well enough to even consider cheating on my boyfriend, girlfriend just told me to tell you that."

I never said anything about cheating so I'm not sure where this is coming from. I'm also a bit concerned they're texting and driving.

Edit 5: I'm a little concerned about the fact they're texting and driving but I just got another text. This one said "Also, I don't know if you're homophobic or not but just to let you know I'm in a relationship with a girl." I'm a bit confused about this because I never mentioned anything about that. I'm not homophobic.

Edit 6: Another text just came through. "You also looked at me weird when I hugged your girlfriend goodbye, so I just wanted to let you know that was a friendly hug."

Edit 7: Another text. "You were looking me up and down when I came in, so I just wanted to let you know, I'm not into dudes and I'm not trying to sleep with you."

Edit 8: Another text "Also, just wanted to let you know, what I wear is none of your business."

Edit 9: Another text, "I don't know if you think I'm your girlfriend or something but I'm not your girlfriend. Stop texting me."

Edit 10: I'm getting really confused here because I haven't texted anybody. I think girlfriend is joking around but it's not really funny and I think she should stop.

Edit 11: Apparently I've been blocked so I can't even text them anything.

Edit 12: Another text "Also, stop checking my social media accounts. You can't post on them, you don't have permission. Also, I blocked you, so you can't see them anymore. Stop trying to get to them."

Edit 13: I think they think I'm someone else. I'm trying to figure out who it is. I don't want girlfriend to get in trouble with whoever this person is.

Edit 14: Girlfriend just texted me back and said I'm acting weird and to stop texting her girlfriend. I think she might have someone's number saved as the girlfreind's number. I told girlfriend I wasn't texting her girlfriend. I said I think there might be some confusion between her and her girlfriend and myself. Girlfriend asked what I meant. I said "You saved your girlfriend's number in your phone. I think you saved the wrong number because you keep getting texts from me."

Girlfriend just said "Okay." So I asked again, "Did you save the wrong number?"

Girlfriend said yes.

So then I said "I think you saved my number as your girlfriend's and her number as mine. So, when you text what you think is me I'm really getting texts from your girlfriend, and vice versa."

Girlfriend said yeah I think you're right.

Edit 15: Girlfriend said she's going to fix it and asked if I could text her girlfriend's actual number to straighten out the confusion. I said yes, but I don't know her girlfriend's number. Girlfriend said she can't send it to me because she thinks what she thinks is her girlfriend's number is actually my number. I agreed, so I said "I'll just text it to what you think is my number and you can send it to what you think is her number."

Girlfriend agreed and I sent the text. I have to wait until girlfriend fixes everything before I can text girlfriend.

Edit 16: I just got a text from girlfriend but girlfriend said not to respond until she fixes everything.

Edit 17: Girlfriend said she fixed everything and I can text her back now.

Edit 18: So girlfriend and I straightened everything out with her girlfriend. I told girlfriend I was a bit confused about all the text girlfriend's girlfriend was sending me. Girlfriend said she thinks girlfriend's girlfriend thought I was someone else. Girlfriend said she doesn't think girlfriend's girlfriend would text all that stuff to her or send her pictures of herself in her underwear. I asked why girlfriend's girlfriend would think I was someone else unless I was acting like someone else. Girlfriend said she doesn't know, she thinks maybe girlfriend's girlfriend was drunk or high or something.

Edit 19: I just asked girlfriend why she thinks girlfriend's girlfriend would be drunk or high at 11:00 AM. Girlfriend said she thinks girlfriend's girlfriend might have stayed up all night drinking/bingeing or something. I said that's weird. Girlfriend agreed.

Edit 20: I think there might be a bit of a language barrier here. English is our second language. Our first language is German. I think girlfriend and I might have different definitions for the word "binge". I think I just realized this. I'm a bit confused why girlfriend thinks girlfriend's girlfriend might have stayed up all night drinking/bingeing or something.

Girlfriend's girlfriend just texted me, "Hello? Are you okay? Still don't hear from you."

Edit 21: I'm a bit confused about girlfriend's girlfriend's text. I'm a guy. We've met each other before. She knows I'm a guy
