My Ex-husband's New Wife Tried to Kidnap Our Son

I have a friend that posted a similar story recently but mine is more specific. I don't want to go too deep into the details of my ex-husband's abuse and how our marriage ended. <br><br>We divorced 11 years ago and our son was 8 at that time. The woman in question was a friend of my ex-husbands, she worked in the same company. <br><br>I was living with my mother at that time as my ex-husband had already kicked me out of the house. Our son would stay with me every weekend as he wanted to stay away from his father. <br><br>He had been physically, mentally, and sexually abusing our son for a couple of years already. One weekend our son came to my house and told me he didn't want to go back to his father's house. He didn't want to live with his father anymore. I was shocked because our son didn't want to leave his father's house even when I asked him to come and stay with me full time. <br><br>I asked him why he didn't want to go back to his father's house. He said he didn't feel safe because his stepmother was not protecting him from his father's abuse. When I confronted my ex-husband he became very defensive and said that I was overreacting and that his stepmother was just jealous because our son was showing signs of sexual arousal whenever she was around him. <br><br>I told him that our son was only 8 years old and he could not consent to sexual activities. He got angry with me and accused me of trying to take away his son because I was jealous of his new wife and that she was a way better mother to our son. <br><br>The next day I got a restraining order against my ex-husband and our son. I could not even call to ask how he was doing because I didn't want him to see my number. He was only 8 at that time so I didn't want to risk it. <br><br>The court also awarded him half of my paycheck so he could pay for our son's expenses. The other half went to his new wife as she was not working at that time. <br><br>Last year I received a phone call from a woman claiming to be my ex-husband's new wife. She told me that our son was with me and that she was taking him back to his father's house. <br><br>I was confused because our son was only with me that day because his school had a field trip to a nearby city which is 2 hours away from our city. <br><br>I asked her for proof that our son was with her. She sent me pictures of our son's arm but you could not see his face in those pictures. I told her that she was not taking him anywhere because he was not with her. She told me that she was not stupid and that our son was clever enough to hide his tattoos from me. <br><br>I knew our son didn't have any tattoos so I hung up the phone. I went to my mother's house to ask if she had seen our son and she told me that she did not see our son. <br><br>The next day I received another phone call from the same woman. This time she sent pictures of our son's feet. She told me to meet her at a nearby mall if I wanted our son back. I did not trust her so I asked a friend if she could go with me and meet this woman. <br><br>I told my friend what happened and she agreed to go with me. When we met this woman at the mall she was not alone. She was with 2 men and our son was not with her. I confronted her and told her that she was lying to me. <br><br>One of the men grabbed me and covered my mouth while the other one punched me on the stomach. I started screaming and my friend started fighting with the man who was holding me. <br><br>The last thing I remember was our son's face in front of me and the last thing I heard was the sound of gunshots. When I came to myself I was in a hospital. The police found me and my friend outside the mall and my ex-husband's new wife and her friends were found dead inside the mall. <br><br>I don't know how they got to our son or what happened to him. I don't even know if he is alive or dead. I just want my son back.
