Creepy guy in the airport who was definitely a fan

So last year I went to Japan for the first time and I had a really long layover at this airport and decided to see the shops and things.<br><br>I was looking at some of the shops and some little kiosks selling snacks and drinks and stuff and I got a little distracted and lost track of where I was. I had the bright idea of asking this one girl for directions.<br><br>I was feeling kinda shy and I asked her in japanese, but I messed up and I was like "sumimasen...how do I get to the...hotel" and she was like "what hotel?". And I'm thinking "well I don't know the name of it but I've been in the airport for hours" and then she just laughed and said "you mean here? This is the airport" and I was like... *facepalm*. She was very nice about it though, she showed me where the exit was and how to get to the train.<br><br>So we get outside and this was my first time in Japan and there were literally hundreds of taxis and people and cameras everywhere and I was freaking out a bit because I didn't know where the hell to go, and she offered to help me call a taxi, because she said she didn't know where my hotel was, but she knew someone who worked at a hotel on the other side of town. <br><br>She pulled out her phone and started calling her friend and she was chatting with someone else at the same time. She's talking to her friend, who's coming to meet her, and talking to this other person and I'm watching this and it's a little confusing but also very interesting to me. I don't know how she was doing it but it's impressive.<br><br>Then I hear this guy behind me cough and clear his throat and I turn around and this guy is standing right behind me. He's tall, not wearing a shirt, just these tight shorts. He looked a little older than me. I have no idea what was up with him. He didn't look like he belonged anywhere. He was just standing there, like watching me watch her on her phone. I was starting to get uneasy but I just ignored him and kept watching.<br><br>Then he started making these little comments, like "I think she's talking to her boyfriend" and "I don't know what she's saying anyway". I didn't know what to do and I was just watching the whole time. Then I heard him make this comment about her "having a big ass" and I was like, "who is this dude?". And I was getting mad because I didn't know what to do about him. I didn't want to get into a fight over this woman who didn't even know my name but I didn't want him making comments about her.<br><br>Then he said "I think she's talking to a fan. I think I'm that fan" and I was like "whoa dude, what?". And he was just laughing and joking around, and then he said "I'm a big fan. I think I've seen you in some anime". And I'm like "uh yeah I guess I've been in some stuff, but I think you're talking about someone else" and he's like "oh, no, I don't think so. I've seen you in a lot of anime and I think you'd be a great voice actor in the future. And your hair looks really great like that".<br><br>And I was like, "whoa dude, I don't know what to say to that but thanks. But I'm not sure what anime you're talking about".<br><br>Then he said "oh, you don't remember? Well, I've seen you in a lot of things, but mostly in your...costumes". And then he was laughing. <br><br>And I was just like, "who is this guy? What does he think he's doing?"<br><br>So I was looking around for someone to tell him to shut up, but there was no one around, and then he said "I'm gonna go get your taxi now. But don't worry. I'll be around". And then he walked away.<br><br>So she finished her call and helped me find my taxi and I asked her if that guy was a weirdo and she just laughed and said "yeah I guess so" and then I asked her if she thought he was a fan of hers and she just giggled and said "yeah I think he is". And I was like "oh. Okay. Well. I'm a fan too". And she laughed and said "oh, cool. Nice meeting you." and then she left.<br><br>And then I got in the taxi and went to my hotel, and I haven't forgotten about that guy to this day. And I've been in a lot of anime and I've never heard of that guy before in my life. I haven't forgotten her face though.<br><br>TL;DR some creepy guy in an airport was definitely a fan
