You are the president-elect of the United States of America. It's 2025 and it's time to answer the question that has been at the forefront of most Americans minds since COVID; how do we fix America? You've been elected in a landslide election, receiving over 60% of the popular vote and winning all the toss up states. The American people have put their trust in you to fix the nation. You've been given the reigns of the country with almost no political opposition, let's put it this way, the Senate consists of 56 Democrats, 1 independent and 43 republicans, the house consists of 280 Democrats and 155 republicans.

How do you fix America?

**EDIT:** Wow! First of all, thank you to whoever reformated the post for me.

Second of all if you have as I have come tocall it "Trump Derangement Syndrome" please just read the story first. It's not about bashing Trump and his supporters, it's about fixing the nation.

Third of all, thank you for all the upvotes and as I'll call them "DOWnvotes". For the people who downvoted, I personally see the act of downvoting something you haven't read all the way through as universally accepted as a big "F**K YOU" But this is the internet so of course you have to follow the rules.

And to those who disagreed, hey! If you didn't like it, that's perfectly fine, please just see other posts on this sub.

Oh, and for someone who said that I broke the rules and didn't use a properly formatted post. The proper formatting rules for this sub did not come into affect until after I made this post. I swear.

TL;DR: You become President of the United States and have to figure out how to fix it.
