What if anime became a mainstream part of Western culture?

As a Fruitarian, I can already see the writing on the wall for things like plant based meat alternatives and I can see how the stigma around veganism is being broken down. I think gaming is going to do something similar for anime and we'd be seeing more mainstream anime recommendations in the same way we might see mainstream metal recommendations of Death Grips or things like that.<br><br>I don't really care to watch Death Grips as I don't get into hip hop but I do think anime is becoming more mainstream although it's definitely a niche which I think is a good thing. I think with gaming anime is moving away from being a stigma and I think we'd be seeing more anime recommendations in the same vein as we do for movies.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Anyway, this is something that's been on my mind for a bit now and I think anime with the gaming crowd and the popularity of shows like Dragon Ball would be something that really does break that stigma and I do think with shows like Dragon Ball, it could explode into the mainstream. Not saying it's already there, but I do think it's definitely getting closer although it's definitely a niche.
