What is conciousness?

I do hope that this is on the right sub, if not, then I appologize.<br><br>I don't know to much about phylosophy, but recently I have been all consumed by the question of conciousness. Conciousness in the concext of conciousness and conciousness as in concioucness of beeing. Pretty much everything I found on the topic on the internet brings me only more questions. I would be really happy for some recomendations on where to look if anyone has any. <br><br>Thank you for your time.
