Should I (M24) leave my gf (F24) of 8 years if she can’t do basic chores?

Hey all. I’ve been with my gf for 8 years and we’ve lived together for 4 years. I love her more than anyone I’ve ever met in my life, and she is extremely caring and respectful and never has she treated me poorly. Although she has one HUGE flaw that she won’t admit is really that big of a deal, and that’s that she does absolutely zero housework. <br><br>I was taught from a young age by my parents to always clean up after myself and treat people how you want to be treated. And my gf isn’t like this. I’ve tried multiple times to work out a deal with her and she will do the chores for 1-2 weeks and then stop completely. She told me that she is clean just different from me, in her own way and I need to accept and appreciate that about her. I try my hardest to be patient with her, but I’m finding myself being upset with her over the smallest things. I’m just so tired of the slovenly state our home is in and I don’t know what to do. <br><br>I want to break up with her, but we’ve been together for basically a quarter of our lives. I just don’t know what to do. What would you do if you were in this situation?
