After a terrible night's sleep, don't immediately make plans to fix everything the next night

If you had a terrible night's sleep on a Tuesday, avoid making plans immediately the next day (Wednesday) because your body is likely to be running on adrenaline. Plans made on adrenaline and a lack of sleep may sound like a great idea but it's likely to not make it past Friday.

After a bad night's sleep I always feel motivated and make tons of plans. It's likely because I'm running on adrenaline and want to get some sort of revenge on my insomnia/mattress/breathing. However, when Saturday rolls around and I'm still tired, my motivation has dampened and I feel bad that the plans I made won't come to fruition.

I've learned when I feel like making plans after a bad night's sleep, tell myself 'wait until the weekend' and on Monday reevaluate if it's still a good idea, if so, start making small plans then.

I'm currently on day 2 of no sleep so I might be talking bs idk but I thought it'd be a good idea to write it down before I fall asleep at my desk.

EDIT: Wow! Never have I had this many upvotes! Thank you so much kind strangers!
