Those who grew up on anime from 2000-2010, how do you feel about todays anime?

I was trying to show my friends and family some modern anime recommendations, but I realized that they won't like any of them. I had to recommend the same ones from 2000-2010. I honestly don't think there's anything from 2020 and onwards that's nice.
