What was this?

My husband and I (m28/f26) like to explore abandoned places, drive around to see the beauty of the world and we travel often. I have to say this last story was the weirdest experience that I have ever had in my life. <br><br>Last summer we visited a beautiful place called La Palma in Canary Islands. I was feeling exhausted so we decided to head to the hotel to take a rest. But there was this abandoned house on the way to our hotel, and I was curious. I love to explore abandoned places, so we stopped by to take some photos. <br><br>It was a nice old house with beautiful palm trees in front of it. We entered and it was like a home, with a big living room with a lot of furniture and decorations. We explored the whole house, taking pictures of everything. Then we went out and started heading back to our hotel.<br><br>On our way back I started noticing a man walking behind us. We kept walking, thinking he would pass us but he didn’t. I started to feel really scared and I told my husband that we should head back to the hotel. We walked faster but the man kept walking behind us, at the same pace as us. <br><br>When we turned a corner I saw a woman walking in front of us, and the man was walking behind us. They were leading us to this dark alley. I started running and I heard the woman shouting behind me. We ran back to the house that we explored and locked ourselves inside. I was shaking and crying, I was so scared.<br><br>After some time we heard some noises, and then the front door started to open. It was the man. I was so terrified that I started screaming, and he just looked at me and left. I was so scared, but I’m just glad we are safe.<br><br>I still don’t know what that was, but I will never forget that experience.
