I see a few trends that have already started.

1. Everything 10mm. 10mm glocks, 10mm 1911s, 10mm carbines. It’s not a bad thing. I love 10mm myself. However, the only magazines I can find are very expensive, glock mags are impossible to find as well. Not to mention ammo is getting expensive.

2. Bullpup rifles and pistols. I like the idea of bullpups. Shorter rifle length for the same barrel length as a standard AR is awesome. The issue is the cost of everything bullpup. The cheapest ones are kel-tec, then on to the fn and the new glock bullpup.

3. Everything brace. 2 years ago I could buy a 6mm arc pistol upper for $400 and complete it for about $700. Now those are $1200 - $1800 for a complete pistol. Or I can buy a complete 556 pistol for $800.

4. Everything pistol bag. That’s probably the most annoying part is that it’s impossible to find any ARs or real guns without a pistol bag attached to it for the most part. I can’t stand the look of a bag on a rifle.

The next things I see on the horizon is the rise of the 5.7x28mm round and the new glock 57 and the fn 5.7. The prices of the 5.7x28mm have not increased as much as other calibers, and they’re available. I have 1500 rounds of 5.7 and I really like it.

The glock 57 is expensive and the FN 5.7 as well. With all the glock hate out there right now, I think they took a hit releasing the 57 and the bullpup around the same time as the psa gapper and the other poly RS 9mm glock clones like the dead ar 9mm.

I think the next big thing in the gun world is going to be the 5.7.
