Am I the only one who is turned off by the men who don't go to therapy?

I personally have never had therapy but I'm looking into it! I've been doing my research to find the best therapist for me, I'm not close to getting there yet but I'm taking steps. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to conduct a search for a therapist and pick someone who I think would be a good match.

I am a feminist, it is a huge part of who I am, I don't know how I would be matched with a therapist and not think to tell them what they stand for, so I'm assuming I'll try to ask them if they're a feminist and stuff like that.

Anyway I don't know if this has happened to anyone else before but when I got rejected by a therapist her main reason for rejecting me was "I'm a feminist and I don't think it would be a good match." Which I would have expected to make me feel angry, but I was actually a little happy when she said that.

This brings me to the second part of my story, I was talking with a guy and he's originally from a different country and he was telling me about how he refuses to go to therapy. He said he doesn't see the point and he was like aren't therapists there to help you work out your problems? Like he just straight up said no I don't need help, I don't need therapy, I don't need anyone, I know best, I am the smartest person in the room and I will never admit that I need help.

So this was the second time I've been told I would be a poor match for a therapist just for being a feminist, and I realized that I have never met a man who goes to therapy.

So I just wanted to throw this out there and see if any of you have had similar experiences and how you feel about it.
