Why do the majority of economists, economists who write for the FT, and the vast majority of economists in the media have the opinion that brexit was a bad idea for the UK’s economy?

This is a very sincere question. I voted remain, but I am disappointed in the lack of impartiality and the fall in quality in economic journalism over the last 10 years.
