I (13f) was walking home from school with my friend. We were on the main road and were getting to the last stoplight when I noticed a car following us. I immediately told my friend and we moved to the other side of the street. We had gone about 2 blocks and I heard the car pull up next to us. The window was rolled down and a guy was looking at us with a weird look on his face. I immediately told my friend to cross the road again.

This was not the smartest idea. It was a dark road at 3 pm in the afternoon and there wasn't a whole lot of street light. I'm also very small and this was the middle of the night so it was very dark and there was only street lights and the moon light.

The car was still behind us. I knew this because I heard the tires crunching against the gravel on the side of the road.

I asked my friend to slow down and the car started to catch up. The man's window rolled all the way down. He looked at my friend and then at me. He then looked in his back seat and told the girl in the car to "get your hands out of the window."

I think it was the weirdest thing I've ever heard.

I was freaking out and I heard the man jump out of the car. My friend had stopped and looked behind us. I looked and saw a girl in the back seat of the car looking at me and smiling. My friend told me to look at her because I was so scared and distracted. I turned and saw the girl and I immediately turned back around and told my friend that that was the girl who was going to hurt me.

We didn't want to look back and see if the guy was gone. We started running and I heard the car turn on and the tires crunching again. We were almost to our house and then I heard a man yelling. I turned around and saw the guy chasing after us. I asked my friend to pick up her pace and I told him I couldn't run anymore. I was almost out of energy. He told me he wouldn't leave me and told me to pick up my pace.

I tried. I really did.

I heard the guy get closer and I told my friend I couldn't go anymore. He told me to go and he'd go slow.

I ran the rest of the way home. I didn't look back because I didn't want to know if I was being attacked.

I didn't even know if my friend made it home. I ran up the walk way and into the house.

My dad was sitting on the couch watching TV. He immediately came up the stairs and asked what happened.

I told him. I told him about the car and the man and the girl and he immediately went to the front door. He opened it and looked around. The house next to us has a view of the street we were on and he asked if they saw anything. They told us that they saw a car chasing my friend and me and they immediately called 911.

My dad said that we have to get the police there to get the license plate number and to see if they have any information. I told him that it was a silver car with tinted windows. My dad asked the neighbors to get out of their house and to point out the car when it came. He said it was the only silver car that drove up and the police immediately went to the car.

The police asked us what happened and we told them about the man and the girl. My dad said that it was just a silver car with tinted windows and the police were immediately suspicious. They told us they didn't want to let the people in the car go. We all agreed that that was a good idea.

My friend got home and she was just as scared as I was. We hugged and cried. We talked about what had happened and how we were scared. We told our parents and my dad asked if they wanted to stay with us tonight. My friend said yes because she was scared of her parents and they didn't want to be at home alone.

I didn't want to go to my room and I didn't want to watch TV or go to bed so my dad suggested we play games. We played for a couple of hours until the man came back with his friends.

The police immediately got the man to get on the ground and they put him in handcuffs. They called for back up and they brought the girl out of the car and put her in handcuffs too.

I asked my dad what they were doing here and he told me they were trying to scare me and my friend. The man told the police that they weren't going to do anything to us. He told the police that he was going to try to scare us and to see what we would do. My dad said that the police called his house and talked to his parents. They told the police that they knew he was doing something illegal and they said they wouldn't come and get him.

The police asked my friend what she was doing in the car and she said she was just a lookout. I asked my friend why she didn't help me and she told me that she didn't want to get in trouble.

The police told the man and the girl they had the right to remain silent and they arrested them. The police told us to get in the car with them and we didn't want to go. The man and the girl were still on the ground in handcuffs. The police told us we needed to come with them so we could tell them more about them. My friend told me I could go with the police but she didn't want to. I said no way I wasn't leaving her and I told her I'd go with the police.

My dad said he'd come with us too and the police said fine.

I went with my dad to the police station. I asked him how he got there so fast and he said he saw the man get arrested. He said he called his mom and she went and got my friend. They said we could go in and talk to the police. We told them everything. The police asked us if we wanted to press charges and we said no. The police asked if we wanted to make up a story about them doing something else and we said no.

My friend was waiting for me when I got home and I asked her if she told the police about what really happened. She said no and I said she had to. I told her I'd be in my room and she could tell them. I went into my room and I was in there for a while.

I didn't hear her come in. I was still in bed when she came in and she was crying. I asked her what happened and she said she was so scared. She said she didn't want to get in trouble and I told her that I'd get in trouble for her. I said I didn't want her to be in trouble and she told me she was scared.

I asked her if she told the police about the girl and she said no. She told me she didn't want to be in trouble. I asked her what she was going to do and she said she didn't know. She told me she was going to tell them and she would tell them the truth.

She didn't want me to know that she was scared of her parents but I knew. She was scared of getting in trouble with them and I told her that I wouldn't leave her.

I told her I was going to go to sleep and she said she would too. I didn't want to go to sleep but I did.

I didn't hear her come into my room until later. I thought she was gone but she wasn't. I told her to leave and I went back to sleep.

The next day I didn't go back to school. My friend didn't go back to school either. My dad asked if we wanted to press charges and we told him no. We both told him that we didn't want to be in trouble and he told us that we wouldn't be. We didn't hear anything else about the man and the girl.

I told my dad I was scared and he told me not to be. He said he wouldn't let anything happen to me and I believed him.

The man and the girl were in the news and I told my dad that I was glad he was in the news. I told him I didn't like what they did to me but he said I would be fine. I told him I was glad he was arrested. He told me he would be okay. I told him I was glad he was okay.

My dad said he didn't care about the guy. He told me not to think about the man.
