CMV: The Catholic Church is a good force in the modern world

Hello everyone, this may be the most controversial post I've ever made and I hope I don't get too much hate. I'm Catholic myself and I've seen a lot of people who hate the Church for various reasons, from its stance on abortion to the various pedophile priests. I'd like to hear your views on this and why you think I'm wrong. Thanks and have a great day.<br><br>EDIT: I just want to clarify that I understand those who are angry with the Church for the recent pedophile priest stuff. I also disagree with how the Church handles this stuff, and those who do these actions are evil.
