CMV: The concept of "harmless fun" is a lie, and most people who claim to enjoy something "for the fun of it" are actually doing it for some self-serving reason that could actually be harmful to themselves or others.

If you want to change my view, give me an example of fun activity that isn't actually harmful or self-serving. Do note that I am not necessarily saying that these "harmless" activities are things that you should never do, but I am saying that they aren't actually as "harmless" and as devoid of ulterior motive as people make them out to be.

EDIT: This is a very difficult CMV to debate, since it's essentially a catch-all that offers no concrete claim to refute. I would prefer you submit a concrete example of a harmless activity that you think has no ulterior motive, rather than a general assertion that these activities exist. I will then critique your examples on a case-by-case basis.
