A creepy guy at a bar called me by my Chambers username, I had to make a quick escape

I'm not sure how this happened or why but I had a drink with my friend's name on it at a bar. His name is Kyle so the drink was a "Kyle Colada" and it had a straw with a name tag that said Kyle. We were sitting on the patio and I noticed a guy walking towards us from the bar, he was probably around 45 years old. <br><br>He comes up to us and I immediately don't like this guy, he was staring at me for a while before I finally looked up at him and said "oh, hey" I wasn't really feeling him at all so he asked what my name was. I told him my name was Jessica and he says "you're not Jessica" and I said "yeah I am" I felt a little annoyed at this point but then he says "no, you're not. Your real name's not Jessica. Your real name's Jessica_Jwv1976. You're not fooling anyone".<br><br>I was a little creeped out by this, so I tried to down play it and said "okay dude, whatever you want to think" he then says "I know more about you than you know about yourself, I know more about you than you know about your friends" at this point I'm getting more annoyed and feel like this is getting a little too weird. I tell him "well, I hope you're happy with yourself" then I turned back to Kyle and asked "what's up man, you ready to go?"<br><br>Then this guy says "your friend here doesn't know you" and I was like "what are you talking about?" He then says "your real name's Jessica_Jwv1976, you're not from around here, your real friends call you that. This guy doesn't know you" I was getting annoyed at this point but then I said "oh, well, thanks for letting me know, it's been fun" and I got up to walk away with Kyle. <br><br>He then said "I'm gonna go on Chambers right now and post your username and your friends username in a thread. Your real friends will see and they'll come get you, and when they do, you'll learn what a real friend looks and acts like" then he just turned and walked back inside the bar and left.<br><br>I was a little creeped out but also amused at how delusional this guy was, he seemed kind of drunk but not too bad. We left the bar after that and went to Kyle's house, where we played video games and ate pizza. It was a great time. I never thought much about the weirdo at the bar until about a month later when I was online and saw a post on a Chambers thread that read "We've got a weirdo stalking my city" I clicked on it, because who wouldn't, and it said "There's a weirdo at our local bars who's been trying to talk to girls and call us out for who we really are. Has anyone else had an experience like this? What should I do?" And then I saw that I had a comment from someone with my username and it said "this happened to me last year at a bar in a different state, I was really creeped out by the whole thing". <br><br>I was really surprised that this was the first I'd heard of it, I guess I'm lucky this guy didn't move to my area or something. I guess I never really thought about what would have happened if he really did call me out on Chambers and people actually saw my username and realized it was me. <br><br>Later that night, I decided to look up the username and I found that it was a profile on a dating site that was pretty clearly a troll account. I'm not sure if the profile owner ever came across my post about the whole thing or if it was just some other girl that the weirdo had targeted but either way I'm glad this whole thing ended the way it did.<br><br>&#x200B;
