Pretty much ever female celebrity admitted to getting raped, harassed or abused, why do they admit to it so often?

In the last years, it seems to me that more and more female celebrities are speaking out about getting raped, harassed or abused. Why is that? I could hardly find any female celebrity that did not admit to the aforementioned.<br><br>I remember that there was a time when this kind of thing was only talked about behind closed doors. It cannot be that all of them are lying or that this is just a massive virtue signal, right?
