If you thought "Tenet" (2020) was confusing, it's okay to say so.

I have heard countless comments about how people will just say how they got confused when watching the movie "Tenet" (2020) and then hear their friend tell them "It's okay if you were confused, the movie is supposed to be complicated." Like no, I will not think I'm stupid for being confused just because you say so, I'll probably read a recap of the plot to understand myself.
