What is the most off the beaten path/ remote place that you have gone?

I’m going on a trip to Guyana (and Suriname and French Guiana) soon and one of the stops will be the Kaieteur falls. I’m excited because the place is remote and isolated. I’ve been to quite remote places before (Papua New Guinea comes to mind) but despite this I think that this spot might be the most off the beaten path place I’ve visited up to now. <br><br>I’m curious, what is the most off the beaten path/ remote place that you have gone to? I’m not talking about the most remote place you’ve been to by car, but the most remote place you have gone to by any means of transport.
