Girl I've known for years has started flirting heavily.

I've known this girl since our Freshman year in high school. We first met in a class we shared back then and we've been pretty good friends since then. We only knew each other's names and the basics of each other's lives but nothing too in depth until this past year. I'm 19 years old and she's 18 now. She's a cheerleading captain at her school and I was the president of the choir at mine.<br><br>We Reconnected around Thanksgiving last year at a party and she told me she had a crush on me. First of all, I was honored and second, I felt the same way. I just didn't expect it. I thought she would always be the cool cheerleader while I'm just the band kid. We've been talking ever since and she's really been going all out in terms of flirting. She's been going out of her way to show me she's interested and honestly I love it.<br><br>Last night she was talking about how good I looked with a little facial hair. I don't really consider it facial hair as much as just the random strands of hair here and there on my face. She complimented me for a good 5 minutes before saying she wished she could see what it'd look like if I had a beard. She just randomly started going on and on about how she thinks I would be super hot with a beard and I was too just kind of going along with it.<br><br>It was just the two of us so I'm not sure if she was just flirting to see how I'd react or if she was being serious. It's definitely been awhile since I've shaved so maybe she could already see what I'd look like with a beard?<br><br>If I were to grow a beard, my parents would literally kill me. They've been begging me to shave my head for years. I've been just letting my hair grow naturally since high school ended. I'm due for a haircut. I just don't feel like going to get one and the haircuts at the barbershop are just to keep it short. I'll just go to the salon for a more in depth cut.<br><br>I'm also worried it would irritate my skin. I've been dealing with a lot of acne lately and the drugs I use to control it are working. I'm not sure if a beard is worth risking my skin care routine.<br><br>Could I pull off a beard? Would I even look good with one? I'm not sure but I'd at least like to try.<br><br>What would you do in my situation?
