Hi all

A lot has been happening in my life these last few months and after reassessing my values I have been wondering what the ultimate value we assign to the world. I have started thinking critically about the way we do things and the value we place on material objects and why we value the things that we value. I used to think that a well paying job, nice house and nice car were of high value or at least a good way to live a happy life. I have learned that these things are truly of no value especially when we value them more than human health and the health of the planet that we live on. My mind is still evolving towards understanding the importance of creating value and building a healthy and sustainable society.

So do we place ultimate value on the human life, freedom and democracy, health and the sustainability of the planet or is the ultimate value profit, consumerism and materialism?
