I know this might be an odd question but is it more the drug that induces anxiety or is it only social pressure?

I’m not completely sure if I should ask this because everyone is so concerned about the drug itself and not about social pressure being the real cause of anxiety. I want to know this because everyone says that drugs can induce anxiety but I don’t know if they are just anxious because of the social and legal pressure to not take drugs because of stigma and legal charges. I’m not sure if maybe drugs induces anxiety because people are just more aware of their surroundings and their brain thus making them feel like drugs induce anxiety. <br><br>Is there hard evidence that drugs can induce anxiety? It the brain and environment the cause of anxiety and not only drugs or social pressure? <br><br>Let me know what you all think!
