Men are not victims of violence. Men are the perpetrators of violence.

The fact that men are victims of violence just makes it worse because now it becomes about "balance" and "equality". This is exactly the mentality that perpetuates patriarchy. We don't care if you're a victim of violence, you are still part of the problem.

Women aren't fighting for equality with men, we're fighting for equality with each other. We're fighting to live without fear of violence, to be treated with respect, and to be considered as human beings.

Women are not the problem. The fact that there are violent women is not the cause of the problem, it's the symptom. The vast majority of violent perpetrators are men, and it's because the vast majority of society is built around the needs and desires of men. Women are socialised to be less violent than men, but the society we live in is built by and for men, so of course there will be some women who are violent. But we're fighting to change that.

Women aren't fighting to be like men, we're fighting for our right to exist in peace and happiness. Women aren't fighting to be considered as much as men, we're fighting for our own inherent value as human beings to be recognised. We're fighting to be considered as equals to each other, not to you.

Stop trying to hijack the movement. Stop trying to make this about you, and start making it about the problem. The problem is men. Men are the perpetrators of violence. Men are the problem.

If you're not the problem, then you're not the solution.
