New Mexico sues Google for using students' personal data

The suit alleges the tech giant used personal data from students for profit “without obtaining the adequate consent required by federal and state law,” New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas said in a statement Thursday. Additional suits were filed against educators’ software makers and the website YouTube Kids.
