Feminists are wrong and it is about men.

This is not my original take on this situation, but I'm going to try my best to say what a good friend of mine said.<br><br>The discourse in the feminist community is centered around "This is proof that the system is rigged!" or "This is a disaster for women!" (or some variation thereof).<br><br>People in this community are so focused on how this will effect women that they never stop and ask, "WHY did the patriarchy pursue this path for women?"<br><br>No matter what, the patriarchy is about ensuring that men have control and power over women. Women are a means to an end, we are not the end.<br><br>In the past, when abortion was first made legal for women, men were absolutely furious. Why? It wasn't just because of God or morals or whatever. It was because it gave women power. Women would be able to choose if and when they wanted to have children, women would be able to go to school, work jobs, and live a life with more than just having children.<br><br>Now though, men see that women are gaining power and control through careers and school. Women are gaining independence and autonomy. The patriarchy is scared. The patriarchy is threatened. And so through abortion bans, the patriarchy is trying to take a step back and take away that power from women.<br><br>Women are not the end goal. The end goal is and always will be men. Women are just tools to get them their power.
