I got caught stealing an apple in the grocery store. What do I do?

I am going to college now and I do not have a lot of money. So I went into the grocery store and stole an apple. I got caught and the lady told me not to come in anymore or she would call the police. Do you think she just doesn’t want me in the store or would she actually call the police next time.
