CMV: Banning graffiti is censorship

I am very pro graffiti, and personally think its cool and beautiful. It is an important way for people who may not have felt in a position to express themselves otherwise, to voice their opinion or showcase their art. Obviously not every one will, but so long as it isn't vandalism, I think it should be allowed.<br><br>But, we have laws against it; so does essentially every other place. I would love to hear your perspective! You can change my view!<br><br>Points I have that I would like countered:<br><br>1. Graffiti has been an important part of history for many cultures.<br><br>2. It is an important way to express yourself, and gives those who are innocent, or wrongfully imprisoned a way to voice their opinion, and protest.<br><br>3. Any laws against it are basically a form of censorship, and a violation of freedom of speech.
