My (38m) wife (37f) wants to kick our (15m) son out for giving me (38m) a black eye?

One day when my wife was out I asked my son to help with some stuff in the yard. Usually when I ask him to help he is busy playing video games. He did not want to but he did anyway. He has autism and is big for his age and is very strong. Later when we were done he asked if he could return to his gaming. I said "no" we're not done yet. He got upset and punched me in the face knocking me out and giving me a black eye. When my wife got home she almost had a fit when she saw my black eye. She asked what happened and I told her the truth of what happened. <br><br>Now she wants him out. She is talking about sending him to a group home or something like that. I do not want this. He is a good kid other than that he sometimes has a temper. He will usually only hit if you hit him but he sometimes will hit for no reason at all. He will not hit a woman or a child at all. I think he realizes that it is wrong to and it is not an option in his mind. <br><br>I told her that she was being a typical mom. She baby's him to much and doesn't want to punish him. I told her she babies him to much because she does not want to hurt his feelings. I told her she only wants to punish him because she is defending me. She got mad at me for saying that and went and packed my bag. I am currently in a hotel. I am thinking of calling an attorney and getting a divorce. If custody goes to her she will just make his life miserable.
