Just had a guy hit on me at the bar and I’m on a no man’s land diet

I’m an Asian female and a college student. I was with a few friends at a bar tonight and there was this one guy who just seemed too interested in me. He kept trying to get me to drink with him, tell me his life story, and just got more aggressive in his pursuit. I finally had to tell him to leave me alone and that I wasn’t interested, and he got really mad and tried to get my friends to get me to go out with him. I just ended up having to leave. I feel so grossed out and disappointed. I don’t understand why men are so obsessed with trying to hit on women when they know it’s just going to make us uncomfortable or upset us. It’s like they don’t care about the impact their behavior has on us.
