I’ve always been against violence and revenge in favor of peace and justice, but today I see that justice can only come from violence.

I’m a male feminist. I’m a very rare case. I know this, I’m fine with it. I’ve never really understood why men would hate feminism and I always saw it as a good thing.

But today, I was talking to my friends and the topic of men like R Kelly and Jeffrey Epstein came up. My friends are all women and they were talking about how they have never seen any male solidarity over these men. They have never heard of any male outrage, or any male desire to see these men brought to justice.

I have never really seen it. The closest I’ve ever come to seeing male outrage was when George Zimmerman murdered Trayvon Martin, and even that was very rare and minimal.

The justice system is very corrupt and can never provide any real justice for crimes like these. The courts are built in favor of the rich, so this is why R Kelly and Epstein got off so easy.

I see now that the only way to get justice is to fight. To punch, to shoot, to burn. The only way to get real justice is to fight with every inch of your body and with every fiber of your being.

I’m not going to do that. I’m never going to hurt anyone. I will never be a victim of violence, I will never commit violence against another being. But I do understand that violence is sometimes the only solution, and I will not judge people who decide that violence is the only way for them to get justice.

In conclusion, I understand violence now. I never really understood it, but I understand it now.
