AITA for calling my SIL a Karen and saying she isn’t a real mother after she tried to get my husband arrested at our wedding?

I’ve always (28f) had a guy friend. I met him in middle school and we were never involved, but we were very close. We went to the same high school and college, and I met my husband through mutual friends. My friend and I aren’t really close anymore, but he came to my wedding, and so did his sister, SIL (25f).<br><br>For some reason, SIL hated my husband from the beginning, and I’m not really sure why. They get along fine, but she always had something to complain about and I found her to be rude and inconsiderate. Well, fast forward to the night of my wedding. The event was outdoor in the evening and it rained for a couple of hours, but it had cleared up by the time we opened the tent. Anyway, SIL was screaming about the ceiling (which were real tents) and that they were going to get wet. My husband offered her his jacket, which she refused. She went back to her car and came back with a bunch of blankets. She started to wave them around, and the security guard told her to stop because she was causing a disturbance. SIL didn’t like that, and she went back to her car and came back with some more stuff. At this point my husband asked her to put the stuff away because this wasn’t the time or place, and she didn’t like that. She started going through his car and found his open champagne bottle from when we were doing our signature drink, and she poured it on the ground, telling everyone that they needed to leave. At this point, my husband lost his composure and told her to get the fuck out before he called the cops. She started freaking out about him threatening her and causing a disturbance, and the security guard called the cops. Before they came, I called my lawyer, who works in this town, and he told me that there was no need to call the cops and I should probably just explain that it’s a misunderstanding.<br><br>When the cops arrived, they asked what was going on. My husband explained the whole situation, and he also explained that it was a wedding. And my lawyer came, who the cops knew and also said it was a wedding. They told my husband they were going to ask for his info because he threatened someone, but they never wrote anything down and they left soon after.<br><br>I was so upset that I called SIL a Karen and said she wasn’t a real mother, and she didn’t have any business trying to get my husband arrested. She was extremely upset and told me that she was going to sue me. I honestly think she’s crazy, and she hasn’t shown her face at my house since. AITA?
