Why do people think Hinduism has no place in the modern world?

I'm a Hindu and I've followed our religion my entire life. I don't think Hinduism needs any reform. We have the concept of Dharma: a set of rules that is universal and applies to everyone. It is not a set of rules set by a book or a person but the rules of the universe itself. It is universal and eternal and should not be changed.
