Hello. The question is the title. I am struggling to be convinced either way for this question with it either being obvious or completely nonsensical with no way in between. If you could offer either an argument for or against, I would appreciate it.

Edit: I am worried my question has been misunderstood. The question is asking whether or not we know anything at all about the external world. The title asks if we know anything about the external world and not everything. I don't necessarily believe the external world doesn't exist but I am skeptical of the idea that our knowledge of the external world is certain and I am not convinced by skeptical hypotheses either.

A lot of people here seem to be saying that we can be certain about the external world if we use our best methods of any conclusions and I guess I am skeptical of those methods.
