Girl started to ignore me soon after i chose to date her over my ex

23M, 19F<br><br>we met at a party and got flirty. she seemed cute so i gave my number to her and she gave it back to hers. she wanted to date me. <br><br>my ex and i remained friends after we broke up as we breakup was for external reasons. she wanted me back recently. i liked her and was leaning towards going back. my current situation is weird so i wanted some stability and comfort - and i knew her. but for the last few days, i met this new girl so it confused me. so i had to choose between both. i ended up thinking that i would like the new girl more. i was right, she is more caring and more easy going and i can be my full self around her. we started seeing each other and i thought things were going smoothly.<br><br>but she started to ignore me, like she doesn't reply to my texts anymore or she'd ignore my calls and call me back 5 hours later (she's busy with uni, i understand this) but why would she completely ignore my calls and texts then call me 5 hours later and say she's been busy? why wouldn't she reply a simple "hey i'm busy" or a voice note saying she's busy with an assignment and would call me soon. she wanted to reduce the amount of time we spent together since the amount we were spending was a lot. it was 5 days a week for some hours. she wants to reduce it to 3 days a week. i agreed since i also don't want to spend that much time together. we both have our own things to do. so i thought maybe she was just annoyed at me. she was the one to ask me out and she's the one initiating most dates, but then she started to give me the silent treatment. i asked her why she stopped replying and she said she's been busy. but she doesn't get busy that much for 5 consecutive days. <br><br>i then said "but you said you were busy, i said okay i'd wait. i didn't even bother you while you were busy" then she said "you always blow things out of proportion. i don't have time to send a 'hey, i'm busy' text to you everytime. i thought you understood me. i was clearly busy" i told her "you always initiate dates and want to spend time with me. i liked that. you stopped ever since i chose you" then she said "yeah, i'm not in the mood anymore" i asked her to give me an example of when i blew things out of proportion but she just said that i blew this whole conversation out of proportion.<br><br>i'm so confused, i don't understand what i blew out of proportion. i just asked her why she has barely initiated dates or replied to my texts and she started to say that i blow things out of proportion. i told her that she's been ignoring me and she said i was acting like a child and i blow things out of proportion. she usually sends me voice notes everyday but she stopped. she usually initiates dates everyday but she stopped. i thought she liked the dates, i thought she liked my company. i thought i was being a gentleman, i don't get what i've done wrong.
